MWCA uses both Creative Curriculum and Essentials Preschool Curriculum for preschool instruction. Creative Curriculum provides preschool children with opportunities to learn and practice new skills. It offers challenges just beyond their present level of mastery. Each teacher creates a classroom environment where children are safe and valued, and their physical and psychological needs are met.
MWCA offers a center-based learning environment where children choose activities in the following areas:
Teachers interact with children as they play to further their learning, which aids in developing vocabulary skills, sensory awareness, large and small motor skills, and personal relationships. We also use Christian-based Essentials Preschool Curriculum to teach the following concepts:

All children will be placed in their age appropriate class based on their age (as of September 1st). Markham Woods Christian Academy is operated as a preschool rather than a daycare. We do not offer drop in service.
2 day Tuesday and Thursday (only available for one-year-olds and two-year-olds)
3 day Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (only available for 1′s, 2′s and 3′s)
5 day Monday through Friday
5 day VPK Monday through Friday (only available for children who were four years old on or before September 1st of the current school year.)
